This beautiful Ruger 1910 black Nitrade model #6709 .45 caliber automatic pistol features an authentic and highly unique desert bighorn sheep horn grip designed and constructed by Life Member Brian Jansen, the Arizona Game and Fish Department employee responsible for overseeing the highly successful desert bighorn recovery program on the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. Since the gun handle was made from genuine animal products and fashioned by hand in the field rather than being tooled by machine in a factory, some slight imperfections should be expected.
